Do I need an app? Is this a download?
No. It runs in your phone’s browser. Nothing to install, nothing to update.
Do I need international data?
You need basic 4G/5G to receive clues as you walk. Most US carriers and prepaid SIMs work fine. Wifi-only doesn’t work mid-walk.
What if I get lost?
Each clue includes GPS-friendly hints (street names, landmarks). You can also tap "I’m stuck" to get the next hint without losing the experience.
What if it rains?
You can pause and resume on a different day. The 30-day window starts on first tap, so no rush.
Is it safe to walk alone?
All routes go through public, well-trafficked NYC neighborhoods. Designed to feel adventurous, not dangerous. Best done in daylight.
What time of day works best?
Anytime between 9am and 9pm. Most hunts assume daylight so you can see the visual details.
How long is the walk?
2–3 hours total, ~2–3 km of walking with frequent stops. You can pause anytime.
Can I do it with my partner or friends?
Yes — one purchase covers your whole group. You walk and decode together, sharing the same chat.
What kind of clues are these?
Real chat messages from a narrator character. Sometimes riddles, sometimes "go to X and find Y", sometimes "look up here — what do you see?".
What if my phone dies mid-walk?
Use the same link the next day to continue where you left off. You have 30 days from first tap.
